After 8 easy and successful months on my plan to lose a slow and easy 1.5 pounds per month for every month of 2010, I finally reached a resistance point. My goal for August was 198, and while I did hit it, the body kept wanting to bounce back over 200. It’s as though my metabolism woke up and asked, ‘Hey, what's going on here? You trying to slip some of my reserve fat off?’ I suspect that September will largely be spent in an effort to get the starvation instinct settled down as I try for 196.5 by the end of the month. I’ll let you know how I do, but I’ve shed 12 pounds so far and it just feels right.
