We think of pan sausage as a breakfast meat only and a fine one at that. But think outside that box as we have recently.
- A pan sausage burger: Fry the meat, grill the bun, dress it up with mustard and sliced tomato (dill pickles if you like) and have a great hamburger, no more seasonings needed.
- Use it as the meat in a vegetable stir fry served over buttered rice. Whoo hoo!
- Stuff a bell pepper with it. Top it with tomato sauce and Italian bread crumbs.
