Despite Herculean efforts to save the peaches from the 2 late freezes of March, things look less than perfect in the orchard. We have adequate peaches but not in the numbers one would expect in a normal year. Our best guess is that pollination was interrupted and the bees just never got back to work, for whatever reason. Can the pollen that attracts the bees reach an age that causes it to lose its appeal? If you know, let us know.
