It’s here again and it is glorious – the Spring Flush. What had been green and hugging the ground is now green and tall getting taller, setting a background for the blues, reds, whites and yellows of the wildflowers. Get in your cars and travel the nearby Texas roads and highways . This is art in its highest form and you don’t want to miss it.
We can thank the good drenching rains of March for our good start – 8.4 inches. So much rain that the waterfall on the farm is gushing water and is still sending it along. Didn’t know JVF had a waterfall? Look at the photo.
We’re hoping for a banner year of grasses but we know better than to predict anything. For now, let’s just say we have a good beginning.
