What to expect

Once or twice a year, we host an Open Farm event. Members and their families and friends (for a nominal fee) are invited to spend the day at our farm. We give tours, explanations and demos of our farming methods, hay rides, cooking demonstrations, and organized hikes which are agricultural scavenger hunts. We also have food, beer and wine samples. Come sit and visit at the hilltop where we answer questions about our operation. We enjoy the time of getting to know our customers and receiving their feedback about our meats.

Get close to nature

We also identify the native grasses that are currently growing and allow folks to feed the pigs for fun. We offer some Girl Scout and Boy Scout merit badge requirement opportunities. It's a great day of education, fun, relaxation in the fresh air and freedom of the Texas Hill Country. Come see where your food lives!
